Solar System Exploration and Colonization

Thursday, September 25th, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
As humanity endeavors to venture beyond the relative safety of Earth, we will encounter extreme and unfamiliar environments. Building a home far away from home requires cleverness, resourcefulness, and problem solving. This talk will present some of the challenges and possible solutions to living on the Moon, Venus, Mars, outer solar system, and even space itself. There will be plenty of Q&A and discussion is encouraged! Presented by Erik Schmitt, who currently serves on the board of the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group. This program is intended for adults as well as ages 12+.
