2020 Summer Reading Program

Yes! There will be a summer reading program for everyone to participate in this year.  The program will be for everyone from birth to adults to enjoy!

All the books you read this summer, whether you borrow them from us through our curbside checkout or not, can be counted in your summer reading tally. Starting June 29, visit to register and record your summer reading. We can also help you with registration over the phone.

The website will help us stay in touch with you while you keep track of your reading, earn digital badges and access special games, and learn about prizes that we have for you at the library. Most of the summer program will take place virtually this year.

We do have Bingo cards available for patrons to play for special prizes. The cards can be picked up during our curbside hours or emailed on request.  The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will present a special program for us in July and we will have  activities for families to enjoy at home.

It is more important than ever to carve out a little time for ourselves and to take a break and escape. Books offer the perfect respite.

Happy summer reading!
